About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. You'll work on building and scaling CommFlow's core platform, from real-time messaging infrastructure to our web application. This is a high-impact role where you'll have significant ownership and influence over technical decisions. We offer flexible work hours and a relaxed environment where you can do your best work.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain features across our full stack
- Architect scalable solutions for real-time collaboration features
- Collaborate with product and design to define technical requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
- Help improve our development processes and tooling
- Debug production issues and implement fixes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with MongoDB or Amazon DocumentDB
- Understanding of WebSocket and real-time communication patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience building SaaS collaboration tools
- Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or message queues
- Experience with Kubernetes or Docker
- Contributions to open source projects
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
