What's New in CommFlow: A Personal Dashboard, All Inboxes and Sender Controls

Over the past few weeks we've shipped a set of changes built around one idea: when you open CommFlow, you should see your work first. Not every ticket in the workspace, not every chat on the site, but the things that are actually waiting on you.

Here's what's new.

A Dashboard That Starts With You#

The home page has been rebuilt from the ground up. Instead of a grid of app shortcuts, it now opens with a one-line summary of your day:

You have 8 conversations assigned to you (1 past SLA), 2 chats waiting for an agent, 1 overdue task and 2 tasks due today.

Every part of that sentence is a link that takes you straight to the work. Below it you'll find:

  • Four focus tiles: conversations assigned to you (with unread and unassigned counts), chats waiting for an agent, your open tasks, and who on your team is online right now. Tiles flag anything late, such as SLA breaches and overdue tasks, so it can't hide.
  • 14-day trends: each tile carries a small trend line, and a full chart compares new email and live chat conversations day by day against the previous 14 days.
  • Waiting on you: your open conversations, unread first, with priority labels and SLA badges that tell you when a reply is due or how late it is.
  • Your tasks: what's overdue, due today and coming up, with the project each task belongs to.
  • Your inboxes: how much work in each inbox is yours and how much is still unassigned.

The dashboard is personal by design. Admins and owners see their own queue too, not a wall of workspace-wide totals, and "today" follows your own time zone.

All Inboxes, in One View#

If you work across several shared inboxes, such as Support, Billing and Sales, you no longer need to switch between them to find your next reply. The new All Inboxes view brings them together in a single list.

It's focused on you: you see conversations assigned to you plus unassigned ones you can pick up, not the conversations your colleagues are already handling. The inbox switcher has been redesigned as well. It takes over the sidebar, shows unread counts for each inbox, and lists only the inboxes you're a member of.

Block, Unsubscribe and Prioritise Senders#

Every conversation now has a sender menu with three actions:

  • Block: new mail from that address, or from the whole domain, goes straight to Trash, with no notifications and no AI agent reply. You choose whether the rule applies to the current inbox or every inbox, and you can move the sender's existing open conversations to Trash in the same step.
  • Prioritise: new conversations from an important customer or partner start at the priority you choose, from low to urgent, so they stand out in the list and get the matching SLA. You can update their existing open conversations at the same time.
  • Unsubscribe: CommFlow looks for the unsubscribe method the sender provides. Where it can, it unsubscribes for you, using one-click unsubscribe or by sending the unsubscribe email from your inbox. Otherwise the sender's own unsubscribe page opens so you can confirm there. You can also block the sender in the same step, so anything they still send goes to Trash.

All of your rules are listed in one place, so you can review blocked and prioritised senders and remove a rule whenever you like.

Find Anything With ⌘K#

Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere in CommFlow to open the new command palette. From there you can jump to any app or settings page, or search across:

  • Team Chat channels, people and messages
  • Inbox conversations
  • Tasks
  • DataFort files and folders
  • Content articles

Results only include what you already have access to, so the palette is safe to use in any role.

Quieter, More Relevant Notifications#

Fewer, better notifications mean less noise and faster responses.

  • Pause notifications by area. When you set a status with Do Not Disturb, you can now choose exactly which areas to pause: Team Chat, Live Support, Inbox and TaskFlow, each on its own. Pick when the status should clear, and everything resumes on schedule.
  • No more workspace-wide email alerts for admins. Admins are no longer notified about every email that arrives anywhere in the workspace.
  • Live Support alerts that matter. Agents are notified about chats that are theirs or still unclaimed, not about chats a teammate is already handling.

Smarter AI Agents#

Our AI agents got a significant upgrade under the hood:

  • Better answers from your knowledge base. Instead of reading every document on every message, agents now find the passages that are relevant to the question and answer from those. Answers are more focused, and each message uses less of your allowance.
  • See what's searchable. The document list shows which documents are searchable and how many passages each one contributes.
  • Clear usage. Your monthly AI allowance and what you've used so far are shown in tokens, right in the agents area.
  • Chat-sized replies. In live chat, agents keep their answers short enough to read comfortably in a chat bubble.
  • Helpful test errors. If a test message fails, you see why.

Smaller Improvements#

A few more changes worth knowing about:

  • Clearer billing. The subscription page shows whether a cancellation takes effect immediately or at the end of the billing period, and each plan lists the apps and limits it includes.
  • Profile in Settings. Your profile now lives in Settings, with a rebuilt, simpler form.
  • More reliable custom domains. Verifying a custom sending domain now restores any DKIM records that were missing.
  • Live Support fixes. The chat widget embed code always uses your active workspace, and a reply that can't be delivered is no longer shown as sent.

Try It Today#

All of these improvements are live now. Sign in to CommFlow to see your new dashboard, then press ⌘K and look around.
